Ivy was an 8 year old Great Dane. She weighed 170lbs. She loved to go on walks and wouldn't  leave Jeff's side for anything, not even for a squirrel. She was scared to death of most things, mostly the vacuum cleaner. She had a little trouble with her back hips but at least once a day she got pretty spunky and wanted to play rough outside. She loved to go on walks in the evenings with Ethan. Sadly, Ivy passed away in Sept 2021.

Freya was a 6 year old white Great Dane. She weighs 165lbs. Freya was deaf and she was blind in one eye. She got around perfectly, however, and knew many hand signals. She was the undisputed queen of the pack. Freya was the ultimate 'she has no idea how big she is' syndrome. She would sit on you and didn't care if you were animal or human. Sweet Freya passed away on Oct 29, 2023.

Luna is a 7 year old Great Dane. She weighs 146lbs. She loves to mother the other dogs. She also loves to carry around toys in her mouth trying to talk the other dogs in to playing with her. She and Ethan play together more than any of the other dogs. Ethan and her love to be outside. There are so many times they are outside by themselves playing.

Molly was our oldest dog at 16 years. She was also our smallest dog weighing in at 45 lbs. Sitting on your lap was not good enough for her. She could never get close enough and would climb on your shoulder if you let her.  Although she was the oldest, she had the sharpest sight, hearing and guarding instinct of all of our dogs. Molly passed away on April 7, 2024 quietly at home after 16 wonderful years.

Jinx is our youngest dog at 6 years old. He is named after our youngest Great Dane Leo James Jenkins (Jinx) Callaway. Leo passed away 3 years ago very suddenly and unexpectedly. Jinx would be happy just to lick you in the face all day long. If he hears another furry animal getting attention in the other room, he will begin whining until someone comes and gives him some love. 

Garcia is our only male cat and the middle feline child at 9 years old. He is by far the most eccentric of our cats. His go to sleep spot is over the vent in the bathroom. He sits at the dinner table as if he is just waiting patiently for his plate. He ultimately behaves more like a dog than a cat. He is named after Jerry Garcia.
