We're so excited to launch this new adventure. And we couldn't be prouder to have an incredible partner like Shirley's Way. Mike Mulrooney started Shirley's Way in honor of his mom many years ago. Since that time, they have donated millions of dollars in our community. Mike and I have known each other since high school and when he reached out and said he wanted to add an animal side to Shirley's Way I was overwhelmed that he asked EthanAlmighty's Blessings to collaborate with.
Ethan is the Executive Director of Furever Friends and thankfully he hired me to be his President. It was a tough screening process. lol
EthanAlmighty's Blessings has been quiet for a bit while we work through some early speed bumps but we're ready to hit the ground running. We have some exciting things planned. We will be creating a Furever Friends podcast, a YouTube channel, more TikTok content and, of course, continue daily updates on Ethan's Facebook and Instagram. We want to highlight positive animal stories, people and organizations in our community and beyond on a regular basis. But our main focus and goal is to help animals. There are so many ways to accomplish this. We will initially begin by pursuing EAB's mission and Shirley's Way's mission by helping people with their medical costs. Unexpected things happen and through no fault of your own you could find yourself in a situation where you could lose your precious furry family member because of some financial shortcomings. We want to be able to help in some of these situations. There's nothing more heartbreaking than to hear that you may have to surrender or euthanize your pet because of mere money.
And we have even bigger plans. We would love to work towards being able to help the local community with pet food and spay and neuter. Are those big, lofty goals? Of course, they are but I don't know any other way to work. I asked several local animal leaders what Louisville and are community needs are and these were the 3 answers I received again and again.
Join us and help us give back to some of the pets in our community that just need a little help.
